NATE WOLBERT

Every day, United Way Director of Finance, Nate Wolbert, gets his cup of coffee and then it’s off to the races.

In his five years at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Nate has never had the same day twice. On any given day, he could be creating budgets, preparing financial statements or assisting the donor relations and community impact teams. As the Director of Finance, it’s his responsibility to help provide timely and accurate financial reporting and to help ensure that the organization is in compliance with all financial regulations. Nate says the spontaneity is one of his favorite aspects of his job. There’s always a new project to work on.

A North Hills resident, Nate is most proud of United Way’s work throughout the pandemic. More than one million meals were served to residents in the region and the finance team was able to help make that effort possible. Nate is inspired by the genuine, mission-focused people that work at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

In his spare time, Nate enjoys being with his three-year-old son, Grant and wife, Allison. They all enjoy going to parks, hiking and running. He is also the financial administrator for Lifestone
Church in the Southside.
