LISA KELLY
Tocqueville Development Officer, Major Gifts Department
Meeting new people has been Lisa Kelly’s specialty for more than two decades, and she loves every minute of it. As one of United Way’s Tocqueville Development Officers, Lisa works directly with Tocqueville Society members and helps them become involved in the work of UWSWPA.
Once she’s gotten her three teenagers out the door for school and had some strong coffee, the McCandless resident meets with Tocqueville Society members and prospective members to share with them the impact their philanthropy has on our region. She also educates them on where their donations go and recruits new members to join. She helps members realize how their goals of helping residents of southwestern PA align with United Way’s work. Lisa enjoys being able to meet people who truly care about making a difference in people’s lives.
One of her favorite memories at United Way is when the office runs its own United Way campaign and the team takes some time to get to know each other. The senior leadership team is up for anything so everyone gets involved and has fun!
When she’s not at work, you can find Lisa at her kids’ many soccer games and cross country meets or walking her dog. She tries to encourage her kids to volunteer and better their community. Lisa is a nature lover and is excited to finally have a garden at her house.
Thank you Lisa for your many years of service and dedication to United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania
