211 Southwestern PA Temporary Resource Navigators

PA 211 is looking for empathetic, compassionate people who want to join our team to help be connectors. We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment. Resource navigators are part of a team providing PA’s only 24/7/365 service available to all residents via phone, text, chat, and web to meet customers where they are. Resource Navigators provide referral services with dignity and respect to help families and individuals. PA 211 helps provide resources for utilities, housing, food, health, mental health, family resources, disaster sources, clothing, legal services, transportation, substance abuse and more. Qualified Candidates will have the ability to ensure the confidentiality of individuals seeking services. Ability to accurately document and enter data into our system of record. Internet speed of 30 mbps from a reliable internet provider required. Reliable transportation to and from the call center. After training, a minimum of 30 hours a week is required; ability to work outside the 8am to 5pm workday, weekends and at times of disaster, as requested/required. A high school diploma or GED along with two years of customer service or health and human service experience. Associate or bachelor’s degree in health/human services a plus. Strong computer skills and critical thinking skills. Work-from-home environment available after completion of initial training period. Temporary position with ability to become permanent. Wage Information: $15 an hour starting wage with an increase to $16 an hour after serving 250 hours.
